Both vans are excellent choices, check both vans on our website or our Camplify listings for photos, full specs and current availability. -

Both Gloria and Grace are diesel vehicles. You will need to refuel with diesel only. The vans are returned to you with a full tank, and we ask that you return them with a full tank as well. Diesel is widely available across Western Australia, including in most regional towns along popular routes. Our hirer’s often comment on how economical our vans are to run.
-
Absolutely. Our vans are designed with ease of use in mind. Both Gloria and Grace are compact, automatic and straightforward to drive. The van setup and all equipment is clearly explained at pickup and we provide a detailed hand over guide. We are always available by phone or message during your hire if you have any questions. Many of our guests are first-time campervan travellers and they consistently tell us it was easier than they expected. You do not need any prior camping or van experience to enjoy a Glory Camper Hire adventure.

Yes, insurance is included with every booking made through Camplify. When you book, Camplify requires you to select an Accident Excess Reduction (AER) package before your booking is confirmed. This limits your financial liability if there is damage or an accident during your hire. There are generally two tiers available:
• Risk Taker - a lower daily cost with a higher excess if a claim is made
• Happy Camper - a higher daily cost with a significantly reduced excess
We recommend the Happy Camper option for peace of mind, especially on longer trips or remote routes. All insurance details and excess amounts are shown clearly at checkout on the Camplify platform. In addition to damage protection, your booking also includes 24-hour roadside assistance through Camplify.
-
Yes. All drivers must be aged 21 years or over and hold a full, current driver's licence. A provisional or learner's licence is not accepted. Additional drivers are welcome and can be added to the booking through Camplify, they must also be 21 or over and hold a full licence. International visitors can drive our vans using a valid overseas licence accompanied by an official English translation or an International Driving Permit (IDP). Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any questions about licence requirements.
-
All bookings through Camplify include 24-hour roadside assistance. If you break down or experience a mechanical issue during your hire, call the Camplify roadside assistance number provided in your booking confirmation. They will arrange help wherever you are in Western Australia. You should also contact us directly so we are aware of the situation and can provide any additional support. We recommend saving both numbers in your phone before you depart.

Western Australia is a year-round road trip destination, but the best time depends on where you want to go:
April to October: ideal for the Coral Coast, Exmouth and Ningaloo Reef, cooler and more comfortable in the north
August to October: wildflower season, one of WA's most spectacular natural events, especially along the Brand Highway and Wheatbelt
November to March: perfect for the South West, Margaret River, Albany and the Karri forests are beautiful in summer
Year-round: Perth day trips and short regional escapes are great in any season
We recommend booking early regardless of the season as our vans fill up quickly, especially around school holidays and long weekends.
-
Yes. Every Glory Camper Hire booking includes a complimentary Western Australian National Parks Pass for the duration of your hire. This gives you free entry to all WA national parks and marine parks, including Cape Le Grand, Karijini (day use areas on sealed roads), Fitzgerald River, Leeuwin-Naturaliste and more. A single day entry to a national park normally costs $17 per vehicle, so if you are visiting multiple parks this pass represents significant savings. The pass is provided in your welcome pack at pickup.
-
Yes. We send you off with a full tank of diesel and ask that you return the van with a full tank. Please refuel at a service station before your return drop-off. If the van is returned without a full tank, the cost of the missing fuel will be charged. Diesel is available throughout WA including in most regional towns, however in very remote areas fuel availability can be limited, so plan ahead and top up when you can rather than waiting until you are running low.
-
We love animals, but unfortunately we do not permit pets in our campervans. This policy is in place to protect the cleanliness and condition of the van for all future guests, and because some travellers have allergies.
-
No. Our campervans are licensed for use within Western Australia only and cannot be taken interstate. All travel must remain within the WA state boundaries. If you are planning a trip that crosses into South Australia or the Northern Territory, our vans are unfortunately not suitable for that itinerary. Western Australia alone offers thousands of kilometres of incredible road trip routes from Exmouth in the north to Esperance in the south east, so there is more than enough to keep you busy within the state.
-
Yes. Glory Camper Hire is a proud member of the Tourism Council of Western Australia and holds both Quality Tourism Accreditation and Sustainable Tourism Accreditation.
