Gloria's story
The van that started it all
"Gloria was our first van — and the reason Glory Camper Hire exists. We built her from the ground up as the camper we wished we could hire ourselves: compact enough to park anywhere, fully equipped so you don't have to pack everything, and solar-powered so you can head off-grid without a second thought."
She's been to the wildflowers, the South West, the Coral Coast, and everywhere in between. She loves a long straight highway and a good sunset almost as much as we do. When you hire Gloria, you're not just hiring a van — you're getting everything we know about WA thrown in for free.

Travel boundaries
- Sealed and paved roads only throughout WA
- North: Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, Exmouth
- East: Cape Le Grand National Park, Esperance
- South West: full access including Margaret River, Albany and Denmark

Common questions
Questions about Gloria
Is Gloria suitable for a first-time van driver?
Absolutely. Gloria is automatic, compact, and easy to drive — similar in size to a large family SUV. Most of our hirers are first-time van drivers and take to her straight away.
Can I take Gloria off-road or to remote areas?
Gloria is designed for sealed and unsealed roads and is perfect for national parks and regional WA. She's not suited to deeply corrugated tracks or 4WD-only terrain — check your Camplify agreement for specifics.
Does the solar power everything?
The solar system powers the fridge, lighting, charging, and cooking appliances. In typical WA sunshine you'll be fully off-grid with no issues. For extended cloudy periods a powered site is recommended.
